Jubilee Women's Center
From Alexis Katsis

In light of the unprecedented situation that we currently find ourselves in, we are no longer cooking for the Jubilee Women's Center. We are, however, still committing to providing food once a month to help support the women there. Many of the women have acquired additional challenges during this pandemic as businesses close and people are laid off and need support now more than ever. Jubilee has requested that food from restaurants be dropped off in lieu of us cooking for the women. We've provided two meals already and they were greatly appreciated. Both meals were from parishioners' restaurants so we are happy to support our community in addition to supporting Jubilee. In order to keep this important and impactful ministry going, we need your help. It is more expensive to order food than prepare it ourselves so we are asking for you to consider donating monetarily so we can continue to provide food to the women at Jubilee. You can send checks to the church to the attention of Philoptochos with Jubilee in the notes section. Thank you so much!

Community Meals at Jubilee Women’s Center
REBUILDING LIVES
ONE EXTRAORDINARY WOMAN AT A TIME

Volunteers meet at Jubillee around 4:30 pm and serve the meal buffet style at 5:30 pm. Dinners that our parish provides to Jubilee help low income women and women coming out of homelessness stretch their grocery budgets. The residents not only deeply appreciate the meals, they truly look forward to and enjoy our company and friendship. If you would like to donate a food item or help prepare and/or serve the meal please contact Alexis Boyd (boyda02@gmail.com)
