Life in Christ is not meant to be lived alone. At Assumption, our ministries offer ways to grow in faith, connect with others, and serve with love. These pathways support the whole journey—whether you're taking your first steps or seeking to deepen long-standing rhythms.
Spiritual Growth
Faith takes root in many ways—through prayer, study, worship, and community. These ministries invite you to grow more fully into the life of the Church:
- Lectio Divina: A biweekly gathering for meditative Scripture reading. We read slowly and prayerfully, letting the Word speak to the heart.
- Psalter Groups: Seasonal prayer groups during Lent, praying the Psalms daily in shared rhythm—reminding us that prayer is both personal and communal
- Catechism & Small Groups: For those preparing to become Orthodox—or anyone seeking to go deeper—these sessions explore Orthodox theology, tradition, and life in Christ, together.
- Liturgical Participation: Children and adults are invited to take an active part in services through prayer, readings, processions, and feast-day celebrations.
