Ways to Serve

In the Orthodox tradition, participation is not just a task—it’s part of our spiritual life. To serve is to offer something of yourself - your time, your gifts, your presence - back to God and to one another. There are many simple ways to contribute:

  • Greeting visitors or preparing coffee after Liturgy
  • Setting up for feast-day celebrations
  • Cooking for community meals
  • Baking prosphora (altar bread)
  • Offering your voice in chant or reading
  • Helping with youth events, seasonal projects, or parish festivals

You don’t need to be “ready” or know exactly where you fit. If you’re open to offering your time or care in some small way, we’d love to hear from you. If you’re interested in any of these opportunities, please speak with a ministry lead listed in the ministry catalog or contact us. We’ll follow up to help you find something that suits your gifts and schedule.

Thank you for being part of this community. Your presence and offering—however small—matters more than you know.

But each has his own special gift from God, one of one kind and one of another.”
— 1 Corinthians 7:7 RSV
